MOSCOW, September 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Italian colleague, Federica Mogherini, on Monday discussed optimal ways to end the conflict in the south-east of Ukraine.
In a telephone conversation, Lavrov congratulated Mogherini on the nomination as the EU foreign policy chief.
The ministers also discussed “pressing international issues, including the crisis in Ukraine” with a view to finding optimal ways to resolve it, the Foreign Ministry said.
