MOSCOW, August 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia should place the emphasis on the formation of full-fledged orbital constellations, taking into account NATO’s plans for further expansion to the east, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Wednesday.

“We see NATO approaching our borders,” according to corresponding statements recently made by the NATO secretary general, Rogozin said.

“They have most likely thought of some plans and will take advantage of the situation, expanding NATO further east,” the vice premier said, adding that in this situation Russia should closely follow the developments near the country’s borders.

“We should see and hear, feel everything to ensure the country’s security. Therefore, the formation of full-fledged orbital constellations working for the country’s defense and security and bringing profit for the economy of the country is necessary, because we must boost the development of the country’s industry,” Rogozin added.

He said both the United Rocket and Space Corporation and Russian Space Systems play a major role in this sphere.
