MOSCOW, August 21./ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov has met with the head of operations of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Europe and Central Asia, Laurent Corbaz, to draw attention to Ukraine’s procrastinations in clearing the Russian humanitarian convoy, the Defense Ministry’s press-service has said. The cargo is being delivered to hostilities-stricken areas in south-eastern Ukraine under the ICRC auspices.

In the meantime five KAMAZ trucks, which have been through the Russian checkpoint on the Ukrainian border, are in the neutral zone waiting for permission to proceed into Ukraine.

Earlier, two ICRC off-road vehicles bearing diplomatic license plates crossed the Russian Ukrainian border and then returned to the checkpoint.
