MOSCOW, August 19. /ITAR-TASS/. The numerical strength of Russian Strategic Missile Forces will increase by 8,500 servicemen by 2020.
This measure is caused by the need to reequip the troops with new missile systems, spokesman of Russian Defense Ministry for Strategic Missile Forces Major Dmitry Andreyev told ITAR-TASS on Tuesday.
“New vacancies have been provided for the second consecutive year over rearmament of Strategic Missile Troops with new missile systems. The numerical strength of troops will increase by 8,500 servicemen by 2020,” he said.
