ZHUKOVSKY, August 16 /ITAR-TASS/. The Oboronexpo-2014 show of military hardware, underway on the airfield of the Gromov flight research institute, in Zhukovsky, near Moscow, is opening to the general public on Saturday.
“The visitors will enjoy an eventful demonstration program,” the deputy general director of the organizer company, Vladimir Sovetkin, has said. Supercars will be competing in speed with aircraft. Worth seeing is a display of missile systems, radar complexes, tanks and armoured vehicles, as well as a collection of vintage automobiles.
The cheapest ticket is available for an equivalent of 20 dollars.
Oboronexpo is one of the world’s biggest shows of defence industry products. This year it features selections presented by 300 companies from eleven countries.
