YEKATERINBURG, August 15./ITAR-TASS/. Suspicious substances have been found in a shipment of original Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey whiskey in the Urals city Yetaterinburg, Urals customs press service said on Friday.

Consumer protection officials had also reported numerous violations in sales procedures for the US product on August 14, the customs service said.

Russian alchohol market regulators Rosalcoholregulirovaniye told ITAR-TASS that bottle labels did not comply with retail sales rules.

Authority press service head Natalia Lukyantseva said labels contained no Russian-language information and did not detail the spirit's origin or aging. Checking of the consignment continues, officials say.
