ULYANOVSK, August 11, /ITAR-TASS/. According to preliminary data, two people died on Sunday as a result of collision of a KamAZ truck and a regular-service bus in Ulyanovsk Region, Sergey Sergeyenko, an expert at the Interior Ministry's department for the region, told Itar-Tass.
"Seventeen people, among them four children, were rushed to local hospitals," he pointed out.
The Mercedes bus was running along the Kazan - Zhigulyovsk route. The collision occurred between 22:00 and 22:30, Moscow time.
Sergey Sergeyenko said an investigation operation group and personnel of the State Traffic Inspectorate commission are at work at the scene of the incident.
