MOSCOW, August 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia does not plan to reduce its military-technical participation in European exhibitions, but the actions of the European partners may make it change its mind, deputy head of the Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation Konstantin Biryulin told ITAR-TASS on Wednesday.

“The Europeans may make us made this decision, but so far we plan to cooperate with Europe as before and hope for reciprocity,” he said.

Biryulin stressed that so far there were no plans to curtail the exhibition activity in the area of military technical cooperation.

Earlier, the Russian delegation at Farnborough Airshow 2014 in the UK was significantly complicated because the major part of the delegates failed to obtain UK visas. The British Ministry of Foreign Affairs linked this situation with “Russia’s actions in Ukraine”. Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin advised the Russian delegation to leave the airshow in response.
