SIMFEROPOL, July 30. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian ban on Ukrainian dairy import will not affect Crimea, the republic’s Deputy Prime Minister Nikolay Yanaki said on Wednesday.

“Eleven large qualified companies producing fairy in Ukrainian territory will continue supplies” to Crimea, he said.

The agreement was reached in cooperation with the federal customer rights service Rospotrebnadzor, Yanaki said adding Crimean authorities would now have to prevent transit to other Russian regions as some dishonest entrepreneurs had already attempted transporting fermented milk products to Russia’s Krasnodar Territory.

Russian ban on Ukrainian dairy imports came into force on July 28.
