Recreation camp fire suppressed in Russia’s Krasnodar territory

Eighty people were evacuated from a recreation facility in the Kabardinka village after four houses in the camp had been caught by fire

ROSTOV-ON-DON, July 27, 6:56 /ITAR-TASS/. Firefighters have extinguished a recreation camp fire in Russia’s Krasnodar territory that broke out in the early hours on Sunday, the regional Emergencies Ministry department said on Saturday.

Eighty people were evacuated from a recreation facility in the Kabardinka village after four houses in the camp had been caught by fire.

"The fire erupted at around 3:32 Moscow time. Eighty people were evacuated,” a representative of the Russian Emergency Ministry’s southern regional center said.

So far, no casualties have been reported.

Thirty-two people and fifteen vehicles were used to liquidate the fire.
