“July 16 is declared the day of mourning for victims in the Moscow metro incident. We convey our sympathies to the next-of-kin,” the Moscow Mayor’s Office said on Tuesday.
Moscow’s flags shall be flown at half-staff upon all buildings and grounds. Television companies and cultural institutions are changing their programs and cancelling all their entertainment events.
Twenty-one people have died in the metro train crash in Moscow and 136 people have been hospitalized.
