MOSCOW, July 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Ten out of 20 foreign tourist groups registered with the Russian Emergencies Ministry (EMERCOM) are holidaying in Crimea, EMERCOM spokesman Alexander Drobyzhevsky said on Monday.
“In the territories of the Far East, Siberian, Urals, Volga, Southern, North Caucasus, North-Western Federal Districts, as well as in Crimea, we have registered 361 tourist groups that prefer to spend holidays in mountains. Among them are 20 foreign groups, where ten groups are in Crimea,” the source said.
No emergency situations were reported in Crimea on Sunday.
The spokesman said Russia’s EMERCOM asks all tourists who are planning trips to the mountains to register with the authority’s divisions and to provide details of routes.
