MOSCOW, July 11. /ITAR-TASS/. More than 300 Ukrainian refugees were accommodated in the homes of families of Russian Emergencies Ministry personnel, Deputy Emergencies Minister Vladimir Stepanov told a press conference.
More than 20,000 Ukrainian refugees are in temporary accommodation centers in Russia. Most have arrived to the Southern, North Caucasian and Central federal districts. About 500,000 Ukrainian citizens are in Russia's territory, Stepanov said.
The ministry's aircraft have carried more than 5,000 refugees to various Russian regions and have delivered about 970 tons of humanitarian aid cargoes for Ukrainians accommodated in Russia.
