MOSCOW, July 10. /ITAR-TASS/. European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has refuted Georgia’s accusations against Russia in having taken certain anti-Georgian and discriminatory measures, the spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexander Lukashevich, said on Thursday.

July 3, the ECHR Grand Chamber made public a judgment on the Georgia v. Russia interstate complaint that focused on detaining, expulsion and deportation of Georgian nationals from Russia - illegal immigrants and persons unlawfully residing in Russia and violating the Russian migration laws.

“The Russian Foreign Ministry points out that the European Court actually rejected Georgia’s claims against Russia, wherein Moscow was accused of a certain discriminatory and anti-Georgian policy that targeted violations of the migration regime,” the diplomat said.
