MOSCOW, July 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Basmanny district court of Moscow will hear behind closed doors the issue of arresting parliament-appointed Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov in absentia. Thus, the detective’s request has been satisfied.

Judge Natalia Mushnikova agreed with the prosecutor’s stance who requested a closed hearing as the case’s files contain “personal data of the affected and the witnesses in this criminal case, as well as personal details of their relatives staying in Ukraine”.

Russian law enforcement agencies accuse Avakov of masterminding murders and use of banned ways and methods of warfare. June 21, Dnipropetrovsk region’s Governor Ihor Kolomoyskyi and Avakov were put on international wanted list. Basmanny district court of Moscow has arrested in absentia the Governor of east-central Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Region Ihor Kolomoyskyi July 2.

Kolomoyskyi, according to open sources, is one of the richest Ukrainian citizens, founder of the Privat financial and industrial group. Upon the decision of the Verkhovna Rada Kolomoyskyi was appointed Governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region. In this office, he declared an active fight against the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics and proposed to form at his expense military units for a raid against them.
