“This format [conference calls between Russian President Vladimir Putin, his French counterpart Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel] mainly focuses on Ukraine crisis. It is rather constructive and fruitful and touches upon concrete issues,” Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said on Friday.
The format is very effective “for France and Germany, as well as for the EU and Russia”, he said.
“The contacts within this format will be continued soon,” Ushakov said.
