MOSCOW, June 15, /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s gas giant Gazprom says its CEO, Alexei Miller, is at talks in Kiev.
“Miller is at talks in Kiev,” Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov told journalists over the phone late on Sunday, however refusing to say where exactly the talks were being held.
The Ukrainian side has not yet provided any comment.
Initially, it was planned that the talks would involve Ukraine’s parliament-appointed Minister of Energy Yuri Prodan, CEO of Ukraine’s Naftogaz Andrei Kobolev, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and European Energy Commissioner Guenther Oettinger.
