Moscow demands Kiev stop provocations on the Russian border

Russian Foreign Ministry sent Ukraine note of protest

MOSCOW, June 13. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow has demanded Kiev stop provocations on the Russian border because they "hamper the Russian-Ukrainian dialogue that has hardly begun". the Russian Foreign Ministry says.

The intrusion of a Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle grossly violates the fundamental norms of international law.

“On June 3, two infantry fighting vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces illegally crossed the Russian border in Rostov Region. We consider such actions an illegal act that will prevent the peaceful resolution of the armed conflict in the southeast of Ukraine”, the ministry says.

“A note of protest is being sent to Ukraine,” it adds.
