“Until advised otherwise, headquarters’ chief in North Ossetia has introduced in the territory of the republic the anti-terrorist operation regime in the Tarskoye settlement and in the neighbouring woods to reveal members of bandit groups, their possible shelters and to stop possible acts of terror,” the authority said.
The regime is effective for the Tarskoye settlement, which is several kilometres from the republic’s capital city Vladikavkaz, and the woods surrounding the settlement. The security forces check documents of individuals and vehicles.
The authority’s press service did not specify the time for the operation.
