MOSCOW, June 07, /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Ambassador in Kiev has said it is early to talk about resetting relations with Ukraine.
Russia seeks to hold a dialogue with Kiev, Mikhail Zurabov told Rossiya24 TV Channel on Saturday.
“Brief contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian counterpart Pyotr Poroshenko in France, the restoration of diplomatic relations with Ukraine and our participation in the inauguration prove that Russia wants to cooperate with the current Ukrainian authorities,” Zurabov said.
“In my view, it’s timely to talk about resetting. This is the beginning. These are the first steps and first signals. We’ll see their development in the near future,” he said.
