MOSCOW, June 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has ordered a readiness check of railway troops of the Central Military District, the Russian defence ministry reports.
Special exercises began on Saturday in the Siberian Federal District.
“The railway troops’ formations and units of the Central Military District were alerted and began heading for designated areas, as well as organisation of security and protection for the troop columns.”
The General Headquarters of the Russian Armed Forces now prepares terms for the exercises with the regard for the complicated flood-related situation in the Altai Territory.
