BEIJING, June 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Secretary of Russia’s Security Council has reaffirmed strategic partnership with China.
Russian-Chinese cooperation is becoming a stabilizing factor in world politics, Nikolai Patrushev said after a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday.
“Today Xi Jinping and I have confirmed the countries’ strive for implementing the agreements reached by the heads of state. It is very important that our positions coincide on all global issues,” he said.
“The Russia-China summit helped bring our relations to the highest level. This is a serious breakthrough and marks a turning point,” Patrushev said.
He is head of the Russian delegation at the 10th round of talks of the Russian-Chinese consultations on strategic security and the 1st session of the cooperation mechanism on law enforcement and security.
