MOSCOW, May 12. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s and Uganda’s top diplomats have agreed to speed up the creation of an intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
“We discussed contacts between companies of both countries and economic agencies,” Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said at talks with his Ugandan counterpart Sam Kutesa on Monday.'“We agreed to make contribution to business circles,” he said.
“We’re planning to end preparations for a document due to be signed in the near future,” Lavrov said.
Russia praises Uganda’s position on Ukraine, particularly in the UN, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.
“We’re grateful to our partners for the support of our drafts and resolutions, i.e. the resolution against the glorification of Nazism,” Lavrov said at talks with Ugandan counterpart Sam Kutesa on Monday.
“We noted the high level of cooperation of our delegations in the UN,” he said.
