Russia not to interfere into Georgia’s domestic affairs over possible signing of EU deal

VIENNA, May 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia will not interfere into Georgia’s domestic affairs over its possible signing of an association agreement with the European Union, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday.

“My adviceis this, ask the European Union or the United States whether they have any plans in case the Georgian leaders fail to do what they are expected to do,” he said. “I don’t want to sound impolite but, as a matter of fact, the addressees concerning this question are there. We have never practiced toppling regimes and organizing ‘color revolutions', especially tinted with brown, like in Ukraine," Lavrov noted.
