MOSCOW, April 25 /ITAR-TASS/. Ever since the coup in Ukraine, the Kiev authorities have not even made an attempt to bring people to the negotiating table, Vitaly Churkin, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation at the UN, said Friday in the program "Evening with Vladimir Solovyov" on the Russia-1 television channel.
"We are trying to help the authorities in Kiev to heed what people who live in Ukraine's eastern regions are expecting from them," the diplomat pointed out.
"It is strange to me to see that already two months have passed since the coup of February 21-22 but the Kiev authorities have not even make an attempt at bringing people to the negotiating table," the diplomat said.
