YEKATERINBURG, April 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian police detained US Vice Consul Kristina Hayden and five American musicians in the city of Serov, Sverdlovsk region, on Thursday, April 24.

The Americans were detained after they had refused to show their documents to police, Tatyana Lepeshonok, spokesperson for the regional branch of the Federal Migration Service, told ITAR-TASS.

“They refused to show documents to police. They were taken to the office of regional branch of the Federal Migration Service in Serov for identification,” Lepeshonok said, adding that they were allowed to leave after they had been identified.
