MOSCOW, April 20, /ITAR-TASS/. About 300,000 people took part in Easter celebrations in Moscow, the press service of the Moscow city policy department told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
“Easter services were held in 380 Orthodox churches and monasteries overnight from April 19 to April 20. About 300,000 people took part in the celebrations,” the press service said, adding that more than 5,000 policemen and internal troops were protecting law and order.
No incidents or violations of public order were reported.
