Situation in Crimea’s banking sector improves - acting governor

NOVO-OGAREVO, April 14. /ITAR-TASS/. There are obvious positive changes in Crimea’s banking sector, the region’s acting governor, Sergey Aksyonov, told President Vladimir Putin on Monday.

“Nearly 80 branch banks have been opened by Friday and another 30 branches have been opened today. By the end of this week, about 130 branches will be functioning. And we expect to solve the problem within a maximum of 10 days,” he said, adding that from 200 to 220 branch banks would be established on the whole, making it possible for people not to face any difficulties with cash withdrawal and turnover.
