NOVO-OGAREVO, April 11. /ITAR-TASS/. A letter written by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the leaders of 18 European countries has been delivered, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a Russian Security Council meeting on Friday.
“Your instruction to send the letter to the heads of European countries that receive Russian gas via the territory of Ukraine has been fulfilled. All the ambassadors delivered the letter to the addresses yesterday (on Thursday),” Lavrov said, adding the European leaders had promised to study the letter carefully.
“We hope the reaction is going to be constructive,” Lavrov said.
