LDPR opens regional branch in Crimea

MOSCOW, April 11. /ITAR-TASS/. The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) party has set up a regional branch in Crimea, the party’s press service said on Friday.

A statement on the LDPR’s official website says the decision to open a branch in Crimea was passed unanimously at the party’s general meeting.

“Today, the LDPR branch in Crimea is celebrating its birthday, or a rebirth to be more precise,” Ilya Drozdov, an LDPR deputy at the Russian State Duma appointed to supervise the party’s Crimean branch, said commenting on the general meeting’s results.
