MOSCOW, April 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will deliver to the Russian Defense Ministry 90 planes this year, UAC President Mikhail Pogosyan told ITAR-TASS.

“In 2011, a total of 12 planes had been delivered to the Russian Defense Ministry, which corresponded to the plan,” Pogosyan recalled. “The number of planes delivered in 2012 was 35 and last year - 55, in accordance with the contracts, concluded with the Defense Ministry. This year we are to deliver to the Defense Ministry 90 planes, and I think that these plans will be fulfilled.”

At the beginning of this year, Russia’s military have already received 12 multipurpose fighters Su-35S. The same number of aircraft of this type will be delivered to the Air Force during the year, Pogosyan said. He noted that the UAC was planning to repair 200 combatant aircraft. According to him, 85% of this work will be done by the aircraft repair plants that have been transferred to the UAC structure, and the rest - by the final suppliers of the aircraft equipment.
