MOSCOW, April 07. /ITAR-TASS/. The Moscow mayor’s office on Monday authorized the holding of an opposition rally on April 13 to protect media freedom.
Pyotr Tsarkov, a member of the Protest Actions Committee, told Itar-Tass that the rally’s organizers had received approval from the Moscow mayor’s office.
Moscow’s regional security Chief Alexei Mayorov confirmed to Itar-Tass that the rally would take place at Sakharov Prospect from 16:00 to 19:00 Moscow time on April 13.
The declared number of rally participants is up to 50,000 people.
