Four army personnel die in APC explosion in Chechnya

11 Interior Ministry troops were injured

MOSCOW, April 03, /ITAR-TASS/. An armoured personnel carrier (APC) hit a carefully camouflaged mine during an engineer terrain intelligence operation in Chechnya, Russia’s republic in the North Caucasus.

As a result, 11 Interior Ministry troops were injured. Four of them died, the Interior Ministry said on Thursday, April 3.

The investigation is underway.
