Lavrov praises Northern Dimension forum activity

MOSCOW, April 03. /ITAR-TASS/. The 5th Northern Dimension forum is aimed at promoting values of equal cooperation in Europe, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

“In the past years the forum has become an indispensable platform to exchange views on major regional issues,” Lavrov said in a message to participants in the 5th Northern Dimension forum currently underway in St Petersburg.

“The forum’s work will facilitate stability and equal mutually advantageous cooperation on the European continent,” he said.

“Our meeting is focusing on competitiveness, through intensifying partnership between the state and business. The Northern Dimension Business Council plays an important role and makes contribution to increasing regional interaction,” Lavrov said.
