Kazakhstani foreign minister will make official visit to Russia April 2-4

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov wil discuss prospects for Russian-Kazakhstani global cooperation and measures to promote Eurasian integration

MOSCOW, April 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov will make an official visit to Moscow on April 2-4, Russia’s Foreign Ministry says.

The visit will be made at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

On April 3, Lavrov and Idrisov will hold talks on the state of and prospects for Russian-Kazakhstani global cooperation and measures to promote Eurasian integration, the ministry says.

The top diplomats will exchange views on major global issues, including the situation in Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan and the Middle East.

Among priority issues are the implementation of the decisions reached at the 10th Interregional Forum in Yekaterinburg in November 2013 and preparations for the 11th Forum due to be held in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, in the autumn 2014.
