SEVASTOPOL, April 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Aleksei Chalyi has been appointed Acting Governor of Sevastopol for a transitional period. His candidacy was unanimously approved by deputies of the Sevastopol legislature.

After a decision on appointing Chaliy was passed, the newly appointed Acting Governor assured local deputies that the transitional period would not last long.
