MOSCOW, March 31. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Public Chamber and China’s Economic and Social Council have agreed to step up cooperation within civil institutions.
“Russia’s Public Chamber secretary Yevgeny Velikhov and chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Yu Zhengsheng said relations between Russia and China gained momentum due to effective humanitarian cooperation, in particular between the Russian Public Chamber and the China Economic and Social Council,” the Russian Public Chamber says.
Russia and China consented to hold annual seminars on key humanitarian issues, it says.
In addition, Velikhov and Yu Zhengsheng discussed measures to develop human capital assets as the major factor of competitiveness, to reduce youth unemployment and fight poverty, it says.
