MOSCOW, March 31. /ITAR-TASS/. A battalion of the 15th Motorised Infantry Brigade of the Central Military District has ended a field exercise in the southern Rostov region and is heading back to its base in the Samara region on the Volga.
During the exercise, the battalion commanders and personnel practiced combined deployment tactics using marching and rail transportation. Personnel also honed their skills of operating vehicles in an unfamiliar environment, scouting, engineer reconnaissance, fortification and special tactical training.
In the final stage of the exercise, the troops practiced interoperability, shooting, and artillery unit control.
