Medvedev arrives in Sevastopol to meet with city mayor

The Russian Prime Minister plans to lay a wreath to the Eternal Flame at the Monument to the Defenders of Sevastopol on the Malakhov Kurgan

SEVASTOPOL, March 31. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has arrived in the Black Sea city of Sevastopol, where he will have a working meeting with Sevastopol Mayor Alexei Chaly and will visit one of the city’s enterprises.

Apart from that, Medvedev plans to lay a wreath to the Eternal Flame at the Monument to the Defenders of Sevastopol on the Malakhov Kurgan (Barrow).

Earlier on Monday, the Russian prime minister chaired a government meeting in Simferopol. It was the first visit by a Russian top official to Russia’s new substituent regions after their reunification with the Russian Federation.
