PARIS, March 31./ITAR-TASS/. Neither Russia nor the United States may impose any plans on Ukraine, Russia's Foreign Minister Serge Lavrov stated here on Monday when speaking on the outcome of talks with US Secretary of State John Kerry.
"We discussed a constitutional reform, which we are pressing for together with the Americans," Lavrov said. "And which, as I understand, the Ukrainian authorities undertook to effect".
"We are convinced that federalism is a very important component of such a reform. The main thing is to ensure Ukraine's unity with due regard for the interests of all regions of the country without exception so that the country would function as an integrated state. It is essential to find compromises and consensus among all regions," the Russian Minister stated.
