MOSCOW, March 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Humanitarian aid has been delivered to Syrian refugees staying in Jordan, Russia’s Ministry for Emergency Situations says.
“In pursuance of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s instructions the Il-76 aircraft has left for Jordan from Moscow Region’s Ramenskoye airfield. The aircraft carries 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees,” the ministry’s spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
The Il-76 carried a mobile power station, tents, cloths and foodstuffs, the spokesman said.
