Deputy PM Kozak to be in charge of Crimea in Russia’s government — Medvedev

MOSCOW, March 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak will be in charge of the Republic of Crimea in the Russian government. A state committee for socioeconomic development of the peninsula will start working soon, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a special meeting on supporting socioeconomic development in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol in the Russian capital on Monday.

“Some time ago, I decided to redistribute duties in the government, and Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak was put in charge of Crimea’s issue and a specific group was formed,” Medvedev said. “A state committee will be formed for these purposes soon,” he added.
