Duma speaker and Ukrainian lawmaker discuss inter-parliamentary ties

The lawmakers discussed a broad range of possibilities in the development of inter-parliamentary and humanitarian cooperation

MOSCOW, March 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Speaker of State Duma lower house of Russian parliament Sergei Naryshkin met with the leader of Ukrainian parliamentary group for inter-parliamentary ties with Russia and rector of Odessa juridical academy Sergei Kivalov on Saturday, March 22. The State Duma department for public relations and cooperation with media reported this to Itar-Tass on Monday.

The lawmakers discussed “a broad range of possibilities in the development of inter-parliamentary and humanitarian cooperation”. “They noted that a large number of Ukrainian lawmakers were interested in preserving full-fledged relations with Russia,” the State Duma department noted.
