Russia will continue to explain position on Ukraine to Western partners — Russian diplomat

MOSCOW, March 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia will continue its attempts to explain the country’s position on Ukraine to Western partners and will try to settle all issues as partners, Russian State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said in Federation Council upper house of parliament on Friday.

“We are still open for contacts with the West,” he said. “We continue our attempts to explain the country’s position to Kiev and will try to find a diplomatic solution to current situation,” the Russian diplomat noted.

Moscow is convinced that Russia and Ukraine will live in good neighborly relations and friendship, Karasin said.

“We want Ukraine to regain calmn and stability. I am convinced that we will live in good neighborly relations and friendship,” he said.
