SIMFEROPOL, March 21. /ITAR-TASS/. The Berkut crack unit will retain its name and be incorporated in Crimea’s police force, the chairman of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, has said in reply to a question from Itar-Tass.
“No one has the slightest intention to replace or cancel the name Berkut. There is not a single person who may wish that. They have earned this with their blood and conscience,” he said.
