MOSCOW, March 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Deputy Speaker of the State Duma lower house of parliament Sergei Neverov urged on Wednesday fellow parliamentarians to spend their summer holidays in Crimea, which has just re-joined Russia.

“I call on everybody to consider this option for a summer holiday,” said Neverov, the secretary of the United Russia Party’s General Council. He said he personally did not rule such a possibility for himself. “If I get several days off, I will surely take my family to Crimea,” he said. He also urged the leadership of enterprises and trade union leaders to “ensure for all workers possibility of an affordable holiday in such cities as Sevastopol, Yalta, Alupka, Alushta, Gurzuf and others”.

“Airlines, for their part, could consider additional flights to Crimea at fair prices. This would be a good contribution to the development of the region’s economy, and would offer new prospects for the development of its tourism sector,” Neverov said.

“This would enable people across Russia to have a rest and improve health in one of the most beautiful places of the world,” he added.
