Russia will possibly place part of state defense order at ship-building yards of Crimea

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin says it is possible to place in Crimea part of the order linked to the creation of civil marine equipment

MOSCOW, March 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia will possibly place part of the country’s state defense order at ship-repairing and ship-building yards of Crimea.

“I mean the ship-repairing and ship-building yards in Feodosiya, Kerch, Sevastopol. We have analyzed their potential to realize what could be done so that they could in full measure, effectively and timely fulfil the state defense order, if we make a decision to place part of the order there,” Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

“We also believe that it is rather possible to place part of the order linked  to the creation of civil marine equipment,” he noted.

“We don’t have a shadow of doubt that this will become one of the most powerful stimuli for the development of the Crimean Peninsula’s budget,” the deputy prime minister emphasised.

He added that enterprises in Crimea have different property form - state and private. “The private form of property should be unquestionably respected,” Rogozin said.
