MOSCOW, March 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Ethnic Russian citizens of Ukraine are tired of the permanent crisis which continues in that country for over 20 years, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin told the parliament on Tuesday.
“The situation has changed. There have emerged attempts to deprive the Russians from their historic memories, and sometimes from their native tongue, to make them subjects of forced assimilation,” Putin said. “Russians like Ukraine’s other citizens have suffered from ongoing political and state permanent crisis, which continues in that region for over 20 years now."
