Russia to continue talks with OECD — Russia's Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, March 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia regrets about “the decision which the Council of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) has taken to suspend “for some time” talks with Russia in view of the events in Ukraine,” the Russian Foreign Ministry stated on Friday.

“We hope that a pragmatic approach to cooperation with Russia that characterized our recent talks will prevail among the OECD states,” the ministry noted. “Our strategic policy for accession to the OECD remains unchanged. We are prepared to continue talks and do not intend to stop internal work on the agenda of Russia’s entry in the OECD,” the Foreign Ministry added.
