SEVASTOPOL, March 14. /ITAR-TASS/. The large ship Yamal of the Russian Black Sea Fleet has returned to Sevastopol from the Mediterranean after carrying out combat service tasks in the Russian Navy’s Mediterranean group, a source at the Black Sea Fleet headquarters told Itar-Tass.
The Yamal returned to its berth on Friday, the source said, adding Valery Polyakov was in command of the ship.
On March 4, the Yamal and another large warship, the Saratov, came into the Black Sea and headed for Novorossiysk for planned repair before next trips.
